A fix was developed and a release candidate issued a couple of days after the bug came to light. Version 2.0.0.11 was released on Friday November 30 and was subsequently pushed out to users through Firefox's auto-update mechanism. Firefox is being updated at a dizzying pace. Version 2.0.0.10 was only released on November 26, and 2.0.0.9 on November 1. Version 2.0.0.8 appeared just two weeks earlier on October 18, and 2.0.0.7 exactly one month before that.
