The Australian Computer Society has elected Kumar Parakala as its president, along with other incoming senior officeholders.
Bob Cross, Mark Lloyd and Stephen Kowal have been elected as vice presidents, and Richard Hogg, Anthony Wong, Nick Tate and Anastasia Govan as national congressional representatives.
The elevation of Cross to a vice presidency left the national treasurer's position vacant, and Bruce Kruttschnitt has been appointed to fill the role until the end of 2008.
