5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
This beats the venerable Sony PlayStation 2 (55 weeks) and even Nintendo's own wonder hand-held the DS (also 55 weeks) Nintendo are looking to continue this success with some news on new or soon to be released titles for the Wii, and the DS. Big Brain Academy(tm) for Wii is one of the titles suitable for families, and is available now. With three difficulty levels, and five brain-bending categories, Big Brain Academy for Wii allows up to eight people to play together with a single Wii Remote. Or, use two Wii Remotes in the Mind Sprint for two teams to play against each other. Also available now is Pokémon(r) Battle Revolution where Pokémon(r) Diamond and Pokémon(r) Pearl players can copy their Pokémon characters from the DS games into a spectacular 3D environment on the Wii and battle players around the globe via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Available on Wii November 29 will be the highly anticipated Super Mario Galaxy(tm). The ultimate Nintendo hero is taking the ultimate step... out into space. Join Mario as he ushers in a new era of video games, defying gravity across all the planets in the galaxy. Controlling Mario is as simple as can be with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Players move Mario with the Control Stick and shake the Wii Remote to perform a spin move or cue stars that launch him to and from planetary objects. Players can even point at pieces of stardust to collect them, or latch onto stars to blaze a magnetic trail through the heavens. Don't want to head into space alone? With a second Wii Remote, another player can play alongside by pointing at and collecting pieces of stardust, then launching them at enemies. The second player can even sweep aside projectiles or stall enemies to help make Mario's adventure easier. Available December 13 will be Link's Crossbow Training(tm), which comes packaged with the Wii Zapper(tm). The Wii Zapper houses both the motion-sensitive Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller (both sold separately) in a single unit for precision targeting. Link's Crossbow Training drops players into a world in the style of The Legend of Zelda(tm): Twilight Princess. Players assume the identity of hero Link, who progresses through a series of tests to perfect his crossbow marksmanship. Resident Evil(r): The Umbrella Chronicles will also be available December 13, and reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3, as well as new never-before-seen locations like Umbrella's stronghold. The Wii Zapper can also be used with this title. Wii titles for 2008 will include Endless Ocean(tm) January 17, and Zack and Wiki(tm): Quest for Barbaros' Treasure first quarter. There are some exciting titles due out on the Nintendo DS(r). December 6 will see Mario Party DS(tm), with more than 70 mini-games and five themed game boards, and fun surprises players can see only on Nintendo DS, such as touch control, microphone control and dual-screen challenges. Master of Illusion(tm) will be available December 13, and teaches users how to perform incredible magic and card tricks, then acts as an assistant as they perform for others. Available January 17, 2008 will be Sight Training(tm): Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes. Sight Training does for your eyes what Brain Training does for your brain! Play a variety of clever mini-games to help train your visual abilities, including Peripheral and Momentary Vision, and Hand-Eye Co-ordination. Play just a few minutes every day and track your results with a calendar and easy-to-understand charts. Put your eyes to real-world tests in fun, sports-based training activities from Basketball, Boxing, Table Tennis and other sports. Advance Wars(tm): Dark Conflict will also be available on Nintendo DS, first quarter 2008. |
