Telstra has doubled the number of Foxtel channels that can be watched on Next G mobiles and has given Next G users access to Foxtel's electronic programme guide, enabling them to remotely program their Foxtel iQ set-top box/PVR to record programmes of their choice.

Mobile Foxtel now has 33 channels including 19 that are unique to Telstra customers. Web access to the Foxtel EPG and remote iQ programming were already available,, but the browser interface was previously incompatible with mobile web browsers.

Mobile Foxtel now includes five categories: News and Docos; Sports, Entertainment, Kids and Music. Customers can choose any two categories for $12 a month, get all five for $18 a month or can purchase a $4 day pass that gives access to 12 channels for 24 hours.

The new channels are: Sci Fi, Bio, WWE Mobile, Fox News, BBC World, Crime and Investigation Network, Nickelodeon Mobile, Nick Jr, Playhouse Disney, Channel [V], Channel [V]2, Max, CMC, Animax and TMF.{moscomment}
