Gotalk CEO, Steve Picton said: "The new gotalk plans are aimed at the mainstream consumer market...These plans are perfect for people who use their mobiles for numerous short calls, or for those that keep a mobile 'just-in-case'." The capped plans are Flexi Cap, 20, 25, 45 and 75 and offer calls the value of $60, 100, 250 and 500 per month respectively with 30 cent flagfall and 35 cents per 30 seconds.. However a fee of only $15 is charged unless the customer racks up $15 worth of calls at these rates in the month. Gotalk has previously offered flexible billing on two of its mobile caps, but has now extended it across its full range of mobile caps. According to Picton, "For the first time gotalk is including international calls & texting in its eligible call types, without limiting the value of the cap customers can use on international calling & texting." He added: "Neither Vodafone or Optus include international calls in their mobile caps – customers have to pay extra for any international calls they make."{moscomment} |
