LG recently announced its XPION LX97WH PC for the home market in Korea, featuring a Blu-ray/HD DVD drive. Although Acer did not identify the drive used in the Aspire M5630, it is likely to be LG's Super Multi Blu. Other features include a Core 2 Quad CPU, 2G of DDR2 RAM, a 500G SATA hard disk, ATI X2400 Pro 256MB PCI-Express x16 video card, wireless keyboard and mouse, Vista Home Premium, and an Acer HDCP 22in LCD. Prices start at $A2299. If you need to save a few hundred dollars, there's also a Core 2 Duo version with a 320G drive for $A1999. Deliveries will start early this month (October 2007). |
