In Australia, one of the first of 37 countries that the Master Chief will land upon this week has Halo 3 on shelves right now. David McLean, Director of Xbox, says, "Excitement couldn't be higher for 'Halo 3'. An astonishing one-in-four Xbox 360 owners have pre-ordered the game in Australia and we're expecting 'Halo 3' to set new sales records for not just video games but the entertainment industry at large." What? Bigger than “Crocodile Dundee”? Surely not. Huger than “Kath & Kim”? How could that be possible?
