Cornered! is a blog devoted, most of the time anyway, to telecommunications: local and global issues, technology, people and trends from the perspective of someone who's been reporting, analysing and commenting on the industry since the dark ages (BC - before competition). Sometimes serious, sometimes flippant, sometimes frivolous. Controversial, analytical, informative, amusing, but never boring; a vehicle for examinations of important issues and observations on my encounters and experiences in an industry where polarised views and hyperbole are the norm.

As I said, bizarre. But I'm sure you get the message: with the ability of the Internet to engender instant collaboration between people anywhere in the world, anything is possible. On a more down to earth level, Williamson reinforced the message, telling journalists that collaboration would be a key focus area for the local operation in an approach to market that he has dubbed 'ANZ 3.0' And it is not just Cisco for whom collaboration is taking centre stage. As I noted earlier, reporting the acquisition of Zimbra by Yahoo!, Microsoft, Google, Capgemini and others are all becoming more involved in this market. Stuart Corner travelled to Networks as a guest of Cisco. {moscomment} |
