Adacels (ASX:ADA) managing director, Silvio Salom, will transfer executive responsibilities for the North American-based aviation and defence operations of the company to Adacels CEO North America, Fred Sheldon. The move is the next phase in Adacels strategy and 18 months of restructuring to focus the company on its global core aviation and defence simulation and air traffic control operations from its North American base. As announced last year, to support this strategy, company functions are being progressively moved to North America, and over the past year Salom and the Adacel board have recruited a senior North American-based management team, with Sheldon appointed in July 2004. According to Adacel, the changes will enable Salom in conjunction with the Adacel board of directors to focus on corporate development and implementation of initiatives to support the strategic focus of the company. In line with his increased responsibilities, Sheldon will now report to the Adacel board. |
