HP's Snapfish photo printing service has added photo books to its Australian product lineup.

Hardback linen books of up to 20 pages start at $A39.95, plus $A1.95 for every additional two pages. Medium-sized softbound books cost $A19.95, as does a set of three pocketbooks.

"The introduction of Photo Books marks an important step forward in the evolution of digital photography in Australia," said Verity Batchelder, country manager, Snapfish Australia and New Zealand. "It's the perfect way to capture special memories such as the arrival of a new baby, baby's first year, a wedding, a holiday or a family celebration and makes a beautiful personalised gift for forthcoming events like Father's Day and Christmas."

Postage is an extra $A4.95 for the hardback books, or $3.95 for the softbound options. Snapfish promises delivery within 10 days.
