This is claimed to reduce the time spent deploying patches by up to 94 percent and to reduce the number of desk-side service visits by up to 56 percent. "When desk-side visits are necessary, the number of steps required to remove and replace components on OptiPlex systems can be up to half that of similar Hewlett Packard desktops," Dell officials said.
