Over the course of a couple of articles we will check out the new releases from major publishers around the globe, previewing some of the goodies coming to your Wii, PlayStation, Xbox 360 or Desktop this quarter. First cab off the rank; publisher Ubisoft has some big guns to fire over the next few months, expect the hype machine to be cranked up to eleven for: Assassins Creed – Slated for a November release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this release has been wowing press at trade shows of late, given on the surface it seems to be the spiritual successor to the Thief series it is unsurprising it garners such pre-release praise.
