Redflex wins $15.4m order with Lockheed Martin E-mail

Australian communications developer, Redflex Communications Systems, a subsidiary of the Redflex Group (ASX:RDF), has received orders from Lockheed Martin on a major project to the value of $15.4 million.

Redflex Communications Systems, based in Melbourne and the Washington DC area of the US, is a communications systems integrator for transportation, defence and public safety applications worldwide.

Under an agreement with Lockheed Martin, Redflex will provide Switchplus technology to Lockheed Martin in support of its Flight Service Station of the twenty first century (FS21) project to the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA).

Switchplus is the core product of Redflex Communications Systems and is used in Air Traffic Control, Military Operations Centres and other Command and Control and Public Safety applications around the world.


The majority of the work for the contract is scheduled to be performed in 2005.
