Panasonic's new KX-TDE IP PBX aims to provide small businesses with features normally associated with larger IP telephony systems.

The KX-TDE supports up to 32 handsets, and connects to VoIP providers using SIP.

Features include Outlook integration (including presence information; 10 user licences are included), and options for mobile phone integration, IP camera support, automatic call distribution reporting.

'Hot desking' support allows users to log in to any phone to associate it with their extension number and other settings.

The new TDE range "provides a winning combination of quality, a strong feature set, and modular design that allows SMEs to grow their network as their communications needs expand," said Jerry Ng, product manager within Panasonic's communication products group.

The company is also offering handsets suitable for use with the KX-TDE, featuring Bluetooth headset support and dual Ethernet ports with power over Ethernet.

KX-TDE prices starts at $A10,228 excluding handsets.
