SCO stock tumbles after courtroom defeat E-mail
by Stephen Withers
Tuesday, 14 August 2007
SCO's share price collapsed by around two thirds when trading opened following the news of a court ruling that the company does not own the copyrights to Unix.

From a closing price of $US1.56 on Friday, the stock opened at $US0.45 yesterday morning.

Following relatively heavy trading, it closed at $US0.44.

SCO officials expressed disappointment with the court ruling and said "we will continue to explore our options with respect to how we move forward from here."

Some aspects of the company's case against Novell, notably over a non-compete agreement, remain in play.
