Ed Elliff, VeriSign’s Australian Region Executive and Sales Director commented: "Jamie’s extensive experience in the IT industry in Australia , Asia and Europe is a great asset to VeriSign in Australia and this new position will see him playing a fundamental role in building the company’s reputation to deliver targeted and secure solutions to protect a myriad of organisations."

Prior to joining VeriSign, Norton worked as a Consultant for ActivIdentity, the Australian Intelligence Community and the Education sector.  He spent 12 months as an executive security advisor to the World Health Organisation in Geneva and developed the WHO Global Security Program.  He also led development in risk management for infrastructure associated with the Asian Tsunami, Avian Flu and Hurricane Katrina.
