Neoware, Inc. (Nasdaq:NWRE), a leading provider of thin client computing solutions, today announced the appointment of David Caddick as Pre-Sales Systems Engineer based in Sydney. Caddick joins Neoware with 13 years’ experience in the IT industry, half of which has been predominantly focused on the Citrix environment.  At Neoware, he will focus on supporting sales among end users and partners, including Infotronics Software and Integer Technologies, for the company’s range of thin client and virtualisation technologies.

Most recently, Caddick was Enterprise Systems Engineer at Citrix Systems where his prime focus was on the technical management of 60 enterprise customer accounts and working closely with the organisation’s channel management to deliver solutions.

Previously based in the UK, Caddick worked with Ultima Business Solutions, a Citrix Platinum Partner and privately held systems integrator, where he was a Senior Citrix Consultant.  During this time, he was also deployed as a Senior Citrix Architect at Scottish and Southern Energy where he was instrumental in driving the organisation’s Citrix XP project resulting in annual savings of more than £3 million in support costs.

Caddick has also worked as a Citrix consultant for Citibank where he was tasked to assist in the consolidation of two Citrix environments at Citibank and Smith Salomon & Barney which presented 95 servers, 380 applications and 5,500 users.

Caddick previously worked as a Citrix consultant for the London Borough of Lewisham and Unisys in Bahrain and has gained experience across a diverse range of market sectors working on projects for organisations, including Canada Life, HSBC, Lazards, Rabo Bank, Sun Chemical, The Financial Times, and Sea Containers.

Michael McGrath, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, said, ”We are delighted to welcome an executive that brings to Neoware a strong track record of results in the Citrix environment.  We look forward to the positive impact that Caddick will have on Neoware and our partners who’ll be able to benefit from his deep local and international expertise in driving adoption of thin client technology as an alternative to traditional PCs.”

Caddick has been a Citrix Certified Administrator since 1998 and a Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator since 2001.
