At the E3 Media & Business Summit the big guns are firing, Microsoft has launched some early shots by announcing more than 30 up-coming games carrying the ‘Games for Windows’ brand, including the big one; Gears of War.

Included are games from some of the biggest publishers and developers in the industry. Thankfully Gears of War, despite having Vista only DirectX 10 graphically capability, will also be available for the more prevalent Windows XP. The Windows Live experiences will also get a full work out over the next year with 12 more titles set to do the cross platform thing, Xbox 360 gamers going head to head with PC platformers in such games as Gears of War, Juiced 2:Hot Import Nights and Viva Pinata.
