Seven wonders of modern world added to seven of ancient world E-mail

Swiss organization New Open World Corporation organized a competition starting in 2001 to select the New Seven Wonders of the World. From a list of 200 entries, 21 finalists were voted on globally.

The 7 winners were announced in Lisbon, Portugal on July 7, 2007. Ninety million votes were counted from website: www.new7wonders.com.

The seven winners are:

Christ the Redeemer, Brazil: http://www.corcovado.com.br/
