Germany company, NCP engineering GmbH, the first manufacturer to deliver a 32 bit IPSec VPN client for Vista, has announced a 64 bit version claimed to operate with the VPN gateways of all major vendors.Featured Whitepaper

The NCP Secure Client incorporates multiple security functions: IPSec encryption with AES or 3-DES, authentication via digital certificates and hardware tokens, a dynamic personal firewall with stateful inspection and friendly net detection for automatic detection of secure and non-secure networks. The NCP client operates over public wireless networks, LANs, wireless LANs on corporate campuses and at hotspots, as well as via the Internet and includes support of mobile connect cards for UMTS, GPRS, and WLAN. According to NCP, "it is not necessary to install the user interface supplied by card vendors." VoIP is transmitted with priority and QoS "ensures delay-free and distortion-free communication." In addition to Vista, The NCP client also supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP. NCP also has IPSec VPN clients for Windows Mobile and Linux.
