Wi-Fi TV offers iPhone-optimised TV E-mail

Wi-Fi TV, a web site that makes free-to-air TV stations accessible over the Internet is offering a streaming movie service for iPhone users via two domain names www.iPhoneWi-FiTV.com and www.Wi-FiforiPhone.com that the WiFi-enabled iPhone will be able to access when in range of public hotspots.

AT&T is offering iPhone users unlimited Internet access via either its cellular network or its hotspot network for $US20 per month. Content is streamed to the iPhone but is not stored so does not take up iPhone memory.

To tie-in with launch of the service, Wi-Fi TV says it will present a 24/7 multiplex style movie marathon. The service will also feature content from such  its proprietary stations: The Manifest-Station, REI Channel 247 on real estate investments, presidential candidates.

Wi-Fi TV (www.wi-fitv.com) was founded in 1995 and claims to be "the only place on the Internet where you can watch hundreds of TV stations and chat with others watching the same program in a live chat box directly under the viewing scree." It also offers breaking news for each country and category listed.

The company also offers Social Internet TV, billed as  "a new generation TV delivery platform that has a geographic sphere out-distancing any traditional cable or over-the-air TV broadcaster."{moscomment}
