Prices begin at $A899 for the Sempron-based Inspiron 531s. A pair of LCD monitors round out the announcements. Priced from $A229, the 19in widescreen model's key specs include 1440 x 900 resolution, 5ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Moving upmarket, the 24in model starts at $A1199 and uses cold-cathode fluorescent lighting for better colour. Features include a 9-in-2 media card reader and four USB ports.
