5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
Key changes include the inclusion of Linux kernel 2.6.22, GNOME 2.20, Compiz Fusion (the reunification of Compiz and Beryl) for compositing window management, support for some Winmodems, and X.org 7.3 (featuring support for hot-plugging monitors and input devices such as tablets) - assuming work on those projects is completed in time to fit Ubuntu's release schedule. Stability and performance improvements are planned (notably in the area of better handling situations where the filesystem is full, and in bug and crash reporting), along with changes to the server edition to suit the needs of wider audiences.
