Trevor Duff joins Shindig Limited as Chairman E-mail
Thursday, 21 June 2007

Sydney-based web presence developer, Shindig Limited, today announced the appointment of Trevor Duff as Chairman.

Well-known in the Australian telecommunications and Internet industry, Duff brings to Shindig a wealth of IT, ISP, and telco industry experience, having headed businesses for US Carriers Sprint, MCI and, most recently, Verizon.

As Managing Director of the ISP icon, OzEmail, from 2003 to 2005, Duff was responsible for substantially transforming the business and accelerating the growth of its broadband services before its sale to iiNet. He was also non-Executive Director of the wireless professional services company, Total Communications Infrastructure Ltd (TCI) from its public listing in 2004 until its merger with Service Stream Ltd in December 2006.

Shindig’s Managing Director, Staffan Flodin, said, “To have Trevor Duff as Chairman of our board is a tremendous boost for Shindig. There are few executives with his experience as a successful leader of both large and small businesses in the ICT industry.”

Duff said, “I have accepted the role as Chairman because of the quality of Shindig’s offerings and the huge potential for its business, not just in Australia, but globally. Shindig’s online services enable small businesses everywhere to easily develop a web presence, which is critical to the growth and efficiency of all business.”

Shindig provides online business applications and offers a powerful and user-friendly website builder to load graphics, products lists, contact forms, order forms and as a user portal. There is no charge for the development of the website - when the business is ready to “go live”, Shindig charges a small monthly fee.

The Web Builder product is integrated with other online services including customer data base segmentation, email campaigns, product/service catalogue, order management, calendaring and fully-featured webmail, giving small businesses the same kinds of management tools as are available to larger enterprises. Shindig’s charges are monthly and usage-based with no need to purchase software or upgrades.
