Rittal Strengthens Commitment to Australia with Key Product Manager Appointment PDF E-mail

 Rittal, a leading worldwide provider of IT infrastructure technologies, has expanded its sales and marketing team in Australia with the appointment of Mark Roberts as Product Manager based in Sydney.  Roberts will be responsible for market development of Rittal’s range of RimatriX5 data centre and server room solutions, including racks, power, cooling, security, monitoring and remote management.
Roberts joins Rittal in Australia with 12 years’ experience in the IT industry and was formerly with the UK operation where he was IT Product Manager.  During his six years with the organisation his role encompassed being a solutions architect for the design of data centre infrastructure, including liquid cooling, UPS, power distribution, environmental monitoring and physical security.

Previously, Roberts worked for Logitek Distribution in the UK as Product Marketing Manager for Compaq Networking solutions. He was subsequently appointed Commercial Manager for Logitek Telecommunications where he formulated the channel strategy to address both reseller and corporate markets for distribution of Siemens, Alcatel and Panasonic solutions.

Roberts has also worked as Marketing Manager for Systems Direct and been a marketing consultant to HyperActive Group where he was involved in the planning, control and execution of marketing campaigns for organisations such as AT&T, Wyse Communications and Cognos.

Rittal has offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, and Sydney and employs over 100 in Australia.
