Belden has released the new 8 port switch BWS-8008 and 24 port switch BWS-8024 through their master distrubitor Wired & Wireless Solutions International. Belden's switch is a central component of the Channel Blanket architecture. This unique solution enables the same channel to be transmitted from every AP in the system, with zero co-channel interference.

. Available in both 8 port and 24 port versions, the Belden switch is the foundation for this highly secure enterprise and campus-wide WLAN. This switch creates multiple channel blankets which can be developed over the same service area, using the same set of AP's (BWAP-200). This enables the enterprise to tailor the WLAN to support different types of users and applications, concurrently and without performance trade-off's. Both versions can be used alone or with multiple switches to meet the requirements of crowded enterprise environments. Both version provides up to two simultaneous WLAN channels, regardless of band (i.e. two 2.4 GHz channels, two 5 GHz channels or one channel of each band. Triple the aggregate bandwidth of a standard b/g/a channel, for effective data rates up to 162 Mps on a standard channel. The Belden switch provides centralised control of each channel blanket, creating a system with zero-latency, robust client connections, the ability to design for a guaranteed level of user throughput, and higher aggregate bandwidth to support voice, data & video applications. Wired Wireless Solutions International is the master distrubitor for Belden's wireless solution in Australia.
