A vast range of content from what claims to be the world's largest mobile Internet service is now accessible from BlackBerries with new client software from Sybase 365.

AvantGo offers "thousands of channels from the world's leading brands in news, weather, sports and more," and  it claims that over 250 major marketing brands use AvantGo mobile advertising to reach an audience of over seven million users. It also offers a mobile RSS reader delvers content in a format optimised for small screens.

According to Sybase 365, AvantGo for BlackBerry caches content locally, providing enhanced navigation, faster browsing and dual online and offline availability. It automatically updates pages on the device "giving the user access to the latest news and information around the clock."

AvantGo for BlackBerry is a free download for end-users available at www.avantgo.com.{moscomment}
