Digital Products Group has announce the official release of the Beyonwiz brand in Australia, with the Beyonwiz DP-S1 Personal Video Recorder launched in Melbourne today at the Harvey Norman Electrical National Conference.

The device will also support IceTV's Australian electronic program guide as well as IceTV's free remote scheduling service, PIMP (Personal Interactive Media Planner). IceTV is also preparing to launch a video on demand service, which will initially only work with Windows Media Centre PCs but will be expanded to PVRs that support IceTV. Digital Products Group will be demonstrating the DP-S1 when the Harvey Norman Expo opens to the public on Saturday May 12 at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre. The DP-S1 retails for $1599.
