Torokina Announce Strategic Appointments |

Sydney, Australia, May 7, 2007 – Network Performance and Fault Management specialistsTorokina today announced that it had made a series of strategic appointments to support its rapidly expanding business in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
JOHN AHERN – Chief Technology Officer Based in Sydney, John will be responsible for global technology strategy, ensuring business-focused research and development is aligned with customer needs and company strategy. Before joining Torokina John was Product Manager for Cisco’s Fault Management Product Manager in Asia Pacific and prior to that Principal Consultant with Concord Communications Asia Pacific. John’s IT and technology experience is mostly in Fortune 500 companies focused on the Telecommunications and Service Provider market.DAVID SNAPP – Vice President – Professional Services Asia Pacific & Japan Based in Melbourne, Dave will continue build upon Torokina’s existing services and education team. The Professional Services team will work with Torokina sales and presales to position and deploy Torokina solution and inspire the kind of confidence that will demonstrate leadership for Torokina’s Network and Fault Management products and services. Dave and his team will work to drive demonstrable success with existing and future clients by reducing time to market and partnering with customers to help them mature and maximize their IT investment. Torokina’s existing education business will form part of Dave’s team and will focus on speeding up adoption of Torokina’s solutions through training plans and follow on support. Dave is a senior executive with more than 15 years of global IT and technology experience, mostly in Fortune 500 companies. He joins Torokina from Lucent Technologies where he was the Director of Lucent Worldwide Services ANZ. Prior to this he was the Director of Lucent Technologies Worldwide Services ASEAN based in Singapore. Originally from the North America, Dave has been in the Asia region since 1999 with his wife and their two children. Both John and Dave will report directly to Chris Gibbs who today manages Torokina’s growing worldwide sales and operations organization. Together with Chris, John and Dave will drive the expansion of Torokina’s products, services and support into the rapidly growing world wide Network Fault and Performance Management market.
