It is UXC's third major government contract since March this year. Others were the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Consular Assistance and Information System, and the Department of Health and Ageing Interactive Communications Facility for the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. Internationally, DFAT will maintain its existing voice networking system. However, according to UXC, staff will share the same user interface and functionality - helping streamline communication and improve productivity.
