Sydney-based ISP G-Node Networks is to resell Optus' ADSL2+ service to offer broadband Internet access at up to 20Mbps from more than 204 exchanges in NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria and South Australia. Featured Whitepaper

G-Node Networks says that it its sister business, systems integrator, Georjen Pty Ltd, had attempted unsuccessfully, for a number of months to gain access the Telstra ADSL2+ services currently only available to Telstra BigPond. "For our ADSL2+ offering we chose Optus, a provider with a clear wholesale strategy, strong roadmap for future expansion as well as an existing deployment in the areas our customers are located, not just where competitors are located" said Gillies.
