Microsoft's delay in providing Mac-based translation for Office 2007 has provided DataViz with an opportunity to regain some ground among Mac users. Most of its recent efforts have been aimed at format conversion and synchronisation for handheld devices. Available immediately, the prerelease includes read-only converters for Word 2007 and Excel 2007, and a bidirectional converter for WordPerfect x3 files.
