After skipping Patch Tuesday in March and then issuing the ANI animated cursor patch out-of-cycle, Microsoft plans to get back into its rhythm by releasing next week four Windows security bulletins - at least one rated "critical" - plus a critical bulletin for Content Management Server.Featured Whitepaper

Security vendor eEye currently lists five vulnerabilities in Microsoft products that have either been publicly disclosed or used in attacks. None of the items on eEye's list has a severity greater than "medium." As usual, an updated version of Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool will also be made available. Microsoft will also release two non-security, high-priority updates for Windows via Windows Update and Software Update Services, with four non-security, high-priority updates coming via Microsoft Update and Windows Server Update Services.{moscomment} |
