eBay-owned online payment service PayPal plans to improve the version of its system for mobile phones to make it more user friendly. According to reports from both the Wall Street Journal and Associated Press, the new service will launch this year.
The plan from PayPal is to reduce the amount of
cumbersome data entry required from mobile users with smarter
interfaces designed specifically for mobile users with small screens
and equally small keyboards.
According to reports, PayPal intends to reduce the number of steps
required to implement transactions and will target the mobile phone
service for merchants selling small ticket items such as fast food and
movie tickets rather than big purchases such as TV sets.{moscomment}
