Free HD South Park ep from Xbox Live E-mail

The South Park episode 'Good Times With Weapons' will be available in HD format free of charge to US Xbox Live members.

This is said to be the first time an episode of the popular animated comedy has been available in HD. Part of the episode is presented in the anime style, making it more appropriate for HD than the series' normal animation.

The free download will be available for two weeks starting March 6.

New episodes of South Park will be available for purchase from Xbox Live next week.

In related news, Best Buy will offer 'Good Times With Weapons' on HD DVD with the purchase of an Xbox 360 or the console's HD DVD add-on between March 20 and April 3.{moscomment}
