Now this is more like it, a grown up game for the Nintendo Wii, Scarface:The World is Yours will slug the Wii phenomenon.

Still no official word regarding a Grand Theft Auto for the Wii, but with this announcement finally grown up gamers have something gritty to wave their wii-mote at.

Coming this (Northern Hemisphere) Summer, We will see Tony Montana make his violent way to the Nintendo box-o-fun.

Having sold over a million copies on other platforms, Scarface: The World is Yours brings an open world of crude lexicons and intense gunplay that fits the bill for the types of franchise the Wii needs to continue its success.

Vivendi have indicated that the control system of the Wii will be used in this new version of the game;

"Bringing Scarface: The World Is Yours to Wii is an exciting opportunity to take an already amazing game and add an incredible twist, thanks to the Wii console’s unique Remote controller abilities," said Cindy Cook, chief strategy and marketing officer for Vivendi Games. "Adding motion-sensitive elements to a game that already includes an incredible celebrity cast, Hollywood production values and non-stop action, delivers a gaming experience unlike any other, truly bringing the world of Tony Montana to vivid life."
