His weight, said to be around 150kg (330 pounds) contributed: a doctor gave the cause of death as "overwork and obesity" according to China Daily. People are also blaming the lack of alternative activities during the holiday, as stores, restaurants and other businesses are all closed, but traditional activities have fallen from favour. China Daily quoted middle school teacher Xu Yan as saying "There are only two options: TV or computer. What else can I do in the holiday as all markets, KTV and cafeterias are shut down?"{moscomment}
