Want to buy the car that only the super-rich of the 1910 and 1920s
could afford? It’s the Detroit Electric, a car that should have seen
the world choose electricity over petrol decades ago, but for the fact
oil and petrol became so cheap as to give electric cars a shock that

Stung by bad publicity over the lack of a whole swag of ‘Ultimate
Extras’ for users of Windows Vista Ultimate, Microsoft has launched a

offers to Vista Ultimate users, the site is little more than an ad, and

Just like the BBC in the UK, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation

‘catch up’ on broadcast programs, the second has a range of
documentaries while the third will offer to sell you digital media –
but it’s all still in ‘beta’.

I was incredibly surprised and saddened to learn that the father of
Java, James Gosling, is firmly stuck in the 20th century, oddly
believing that the “over-the-air” (OTA) distribution of mobile

Although we live in a 3G world, 2G phones are still around, especially
in the pre-paid market this phone is destined for. The T303’s slider
design, a mirrored screen and a bit of chrome polish make it more
stylish than your average cheap phone, but the rest of its features are
quite basic.

Microsoft clearly won’t let its Office suite turn into a web based app
