Okay, so it is a game about a movie about a comic.  When that synthesised description hits my review pile, quite often the initial reaction is a rolling of the eyes and a ‘here-we-go-again’ exclamation!  And whilst much of X-Men Origins: Wolverine is derivative, controlling a buffed up Hugh Jackman is actually a great romp.

This generation of gaming consoles, nothing has been more successful, and yes, surprising than the Nintendo Wii.  Dismissed initially by all the “experts”, the little white box has gone on to dominate sales charts around the world.  But is this because of the little white box, or the Wii Sports game it comes with?

Foxtel goes online with Warner Bros in tow

There are big moves happening at cable TV provider Foxtel. In order to stay afloat against increasing competition, Foxtel have announced a new online facility featuring a facility for remote programming your Foxtel IQ or IQ2.  The provider has also expanded their Video On Demand service, expect to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on the same day as the DVD and Blu-Ray release.
