In the E3 wash-up, at least as far as console hardware goes, the Nintendo company once again gave their rivals a run for their money. Meanwhile both Microsoft and Sony came away being outshone and with some issues to contend with.

Well maybe it is not so simple, but it is bewildering why North America gets a straightforward US$100 price reduction on the PlayStation 3, whilst the PAL territories seem too sophisticated for such a natural remedy.

There is a lot happening in camp Sony at the moment as finally the expected price drop of the 60GB PS3 has been announced for North America, Europe and (presumably) the rest of the world must wait until the 12th of July for an inkling of what to expect locally. But already the rumours are flying.

Well maybe I lied, no such study has been conducted, but at the rate new studies on our gaming habits are being released, it won't be long before such a topic is analysed. So many studies with sometimes conflicting or misinterpreted results. The most recent of these to be leaped upon by the anti-gaming fraternity, shows teenage gamers and their predilection for giving up reading and homework time to play, but is this really an issue?
