It appears that no part of the Windows operating platform is impervious to vulnerability exploitation, including the Windows Media digital rights management. This time, however, many users are demanding Microsoft not to issue the patch it says is on its way.

The largest music company in the world, Universal Music, has issued a mind boggling challenge to the Apple dominated online music market by making its huge catalogue of music and videos available for free advertising-supported download. Microsoft will benefit because downloads will be compatible with Windows DRM supported MP3 players but not iPod.

Intel hits AMD with Tulsa server processors E-mail

Intel has continued its assault on AMD in the server space by unveiling a new series of Xeon processors for the server market. The new 64-bit dual-core Xeon 7100 processor, dubbed Tulsa, will take its place alongside the previously announced Woodcrest Xeon 5100 series and Montecito Itanium 2.
