Is it "The beginning of World War III" as news breaks that the "US Army crossed Iran's borders" and there are now "20000 US Soldiers in Iran" which in effect means "USA declares war on Iran" as a number of reports are suggesting?

Want an iPhone 3G on launch day? Despite the usual claims of low stock or no stock, the truth is there should be no problem in getting hold of one. If you want a Pay As You Go handset, however, then you will need to send a letter to Father Christmas it seems.

Hoorah! It's iPhone-eve! The world will be watching as the clock draws towards midnight ... except one segment of phone buyers who have been totally excluded. In a mess of mixed messages the telcos seem to have hired the famous Seinfeld soup Nazi as their director of enterprise and government pricing. That’s right, "No iPhone for you" despite the claims it's a better business device than BlackBerry.

Under the scheme, users who submit good quality images to Flickr may see them offered to commercial and editorial customers under the Flickr brand.

Microsoft has warned of a newly discovered vulnerability in Microsoft Office Word 2002 Service Pack 3 that is being used in targeted attacks which could corrupt memory and take control of the victim's computer. The zero day attack follows a familiar pattern of exploits coinciding with Patch Tuesday to maximise the window between discovery and the availability of a fix.

The five major Australian cities are due to have analog TV turned off at the end of next year, progressively the remainder of the country will be forced to convert by 2013.  So, knowing that any equipment older than around 5 years will stop working in 18 months, how are we doing?

Last year, when Microsoft invested in Facebook, the social networking phenomenon was proclaimed to be worth USD $15 billion. This week, according to legal papers, it has been revealed that Facebook itself reckons it is only worth a paltry USD $3.75 billion instead.
