MYOB shareholders urged to reject Manhattan bid E-mail

The board of financial software and services company MYOB is maintaining its opposition to the bid made by US-Australian takeover vehicle Manhattan Software. "The offer is neither fair nor reasonable," said MYOB's chairman.

Shareholders in HP and EDS have approved the IT industry's second largest merger and acquisition, with HP set to gobble up global outsourcing giant EDS for a whopping $US13.9 billion.
