Bigger isn't always better. This is particularly true of USB TV tuners, which have a tendency to block adjacent ports unless an extension cable is used. Elgato has put its hardware on a diet, resulting in a tuner measuring just 57 × 17 x 9 mm.

Two of leading IT jobs market indicators show that 2008 has not been a strong year for IT&T jobs in Australia, with June recording a particularly large fall in advertised positions. What's more, according to one report, there are ominous indications that the deteriorating IT jobs market may be a long term trend.

Technology has become a curse for many employees who wish to leave their work behind when they go home, according to a new survey. The problem appears to be that bosses now have so many options to contact their staff outside working hours and workers are afraid to say rack off.
