Qld gets new ‘free-flow’ tolling system E-mail

Thales Australia has partnered with Queensland Motorways to develop and implement Queensland’s first free-flow tolling system on the Logan Motorway, Gateway Extension and Gateway Bridge, which is now just over four months into operation after the contract was awarded to Thales in February last year.

Aussie-developed health IT system for Chile E-mail

Global health IT systems vendor, InterSystems has started deploying the Australian-developed InterSystems TrakCare connected health information system in the new Santiago Military Hospital in Chile that will enable electronic clinical files for soldiers to be made available whenever they seek attention at any of the health centres across Chile that are part of the country’s Army Health Command (Cosale) Network.

 
BA selects Progress for IT system upgrade E-mail

IBM taps into NT water with asset management contract E-mail

IBM has snared a $14.5 million agreement with the Northern Territory's multi-utility provider, Power and Water Corporation, to design and implement an asset management system aimed at delivering electricity, water and sewerage services to the corporation’s 80,000 customers across more than 1.3 million kilometres of the Top End territory more efficiently.

 
Pronto beats SAP to ERP contract E-mail

Mid-market software vendor and developer, Pronto Software, has beaten off the competition, including SAP, to win a contract with the Australian-arm of Freeworld Coatings, a global specialised coatings company, to implement its ERP solution across Freeworld’s recently restructured Australian operations.
