iPhone some people just don't get it - Technology Feature

iTWire iPhone feature
There is no doubt that the amazing iPhone has turned the world of mobile communications on its head since it was first announced in January 2007 by Steve Jobs at the Macworld expo. Since that time, more than 10 million iPhones have been sold around the world and a 3G version has hit the market to meet the needs of web surfers on the move. Of course, the majority of people still don't own an iPhone but those who do can be forgiven for asking: : "Why not?"

At the end of the day iPhone is no phone
by Stan Beer
Now that the iPhone is out in the hands of real reviewers rather than the selected Apple friendlies who got previews prior to release, the real story is emerging. iPhone: For the rest of the world it’s wait and see on 3G
by Stan Beer
It’s a testimony to the drawing power of the iPhone and marketing prowess of Apple that consumers are prepared to overlook the fact that it’s only available in the US on an obsolete Edge network. That may be good enough for US consumers but it probably won’t wash in Europe, much of Asia and here in Australia.
