There is no doubt that the amazing iPhone has turned the world of mobile communications on its head since it was first announced in January 2007 by Steve Jobs at the Macworld expo. Since that time, more than 10 million iPhones have been sold around the world and a 3G version has hit the market to meet the needs of web surfers on the move. Of course, the majority of people still don't own an iPhone but those who do can be forgiven for asking: : "Why not?"

So he did his homework and now claims that Telstra has unlocked his iPhone 3G free of charge! Has a massive can of worms just been opened for outright current or future iPhone 3G purchases from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone in Australia?
