Officials with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) announced that its lunar exploring spacecraft Selene (“Kaguya”) is working fine. It has released a small satellite called Relay Satellite (Rstar), also working nominally, and taken its first pictures of the Moon.
