Telstra says advertising revenue for its BigPond web sites has grown by more than 50 percent during the first three calendar quarters. While the September quarter was looking a bit shaky elsewhere, Telstra claimed "strong growth".

After much price competition from 3 Mobile, Optus and Vodafone, Telstra has finally moved to increase the value of its Next G wireless broadband plans for consumers and business. They’re still a lot more expensive than competitors, but the introduction of a 10GB plan will make some users very happy indeed.
