Contact centre company Touchbase has appointed Andrew Fisher as business leader of its Australian operations. Fisher, formerly Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand, replaces Magnus Maynard who will head the company’s new Boston-based operation in the expanding US market. Fisher spent two-and-a-half years as Head of Sales. Prior to that, he spent four years in various leadership and sales roles within Touchbase. He has more than 14 years experience in the telecommunications industry.

It appears that Microsoft wants to make sure that its customers feel as if they are being treated with contempt - just in case they didn't already feel that way. Customers who pay up to US$400 for a copy of Vista Ultimate will for their investment be able to transfer their software to another machine just once instead of as many times as they like as is the case with XP.
